In maths, the children have been learning about squares and rectangles. They know that both these shapes have 4 sides, but a square has 4 sides the same length. They went on a walk round school looking for things that were squares or rectangles. They sorted shapes into squares and rectangles. The children had lots of fun making squares and rectangles with different materials.
