As a school, we have chosen to use Seesaw as our learning platform. Seesaw allows the teachers to assign work to the children and provide teacher input, instructions and templates that the children can use to complete the work set. The children can then upload their work to an online journal for their teacher to see and to provide feedback. The app can be used on phones, tablets and there is also a website which can be used if using a laptop or computer.
If you do not have the technology available to enable your child to access the app, please contact the school and we will work together to find the best solution for your child.
Please click on the video and our guide to using Seesaw below to find out more about how the app works.
Guide to using Seesaw for Remote Learning
Your child will receive a set of instructions which also includes a QR code and text join code – please use these to login to the app rather than using an email address. If you lose your join code, a new one can be produced by the school, please contact the school office.
Timetables
Our teachers will be working to the following timetable to provide learning for our pupils. Children often miss the structure that a usual day in school brings. We have therefore developed some suggested timetables that parents can use to help them to structure their child’s day. We understand that many parents will be working, please feel free to move activities within a day around to suit your own circumstances.
