In English, Class 5 have been studying the narrative poem ‘The Highwayman’. We have looked at the features, done reading comprehensions based on it and next week we will be aiming to rewrite the ending. To help us learn the poem, we performed it in pairs, coming up with actions and our own rhythm. Each group performed their verse and it will be put together to create a whole class performance of the poem.
