Exploring Volume

In maths today we looked at the terms capacity and volume. We discussed what these meant and also talked about times we have had to measure liquids for example when baking a cake or making slime. We then went outside and practiced measuring different volumes given in different sized and shaped containers. We discussed the different capacities of the containers using words such as this container has a bigger capacity because it will hold more water. We really enjoyed experimenting with different volumes of water.
