Measuring

In maths today, we used metre sticks, tape measures and trundle wheels to measure different lengths. We talked about what each piece of equipment would be best suited to measure and then set off around the classroom and outside measuring different objects including chairs, doors, plant pots and even the length of the yard.

We then regrouped and compared the size of different objects using mathematical terms such as taller, smaller, shorter and wider.
