Junk Model Castles

This week Reception Class looked at castles and learnt the names of some key features of castles. They worked in pairs to make their own castle using junk modelling materials. They selected the boxes and other materials they wanted to use. Then they cut them and joined them together using tape or staples. They included battlements, towers, flag poles and drawbridges. To complete the models the children needed to listen to each other and help each other. Their castles look amazing!
