Reception Class learnt about the Hindu festival of Diwali. They looked at how Diwali is celebrated and talked about how it is similar to festivals celebrated by their own families. They made diva lamps from clay, as Diwali is also known as the Festival of Lights. They made rangoli patterns and paper flowers as these are used to decorate homes at Diwali.
