Adding and Taking Away

Reception Class have been very busy learning about adding more to an amount and taking away from an amount. They have explored how when they know an add fact they also know a take away facts. E.g. 3 add 2 makes 5 so 5 take away 2 must be 3.  They used lots of different pieces of apparatus to develop their understanding of this.
