We were lucky to have Adam Bushnell visit our class to inspire us to write about the Vikings. He came armed with a variety of Viking weapons and items, including a horn, which, when blown, produced a huge sound. The class made notes about Viking life and then used what they had learnt to write Horrible Histories style explanation texts in English.
