Class 5 have been learning about invertebrates and classifying them. Today, we did a habitat survey of our local area. We explored three different habitats in the area: the climbing frame, the flowerbeds and the wildlife garden. We used magnifying jars to identify invertebrates that we’d found and then concluded which area was the ideal conditions to find insects. If we could redo the investigation, we would try in different conditions to see if we came to the same conclusions.
