We read the story ‘The Hundred Decker Bus’ and then had a fun-filled week learning all about buses. We drew new decks on a bus, showing good imagination and drawing skills. The children enjoyed lots of imaginative role play pretending they were on a bus, both indoors and outdoors. They took turns being the bus driver and passengers. They put their hands out to stop the bus to get on it, then rang the bell to get the bus to stop. They ended the week using junk modelling materials to make their own buses.
