Key Stage 1 Visit to South Shields

The children in KS1 have had a wonderful day in South Shields today. We explored the South Marine Park, including the band stand where we had our picnic. Then we headed over to the beach, it was windy and a bit chilly but it didn’t stop the children having lots of fun playing on the sand. Then they were surprised with a session in The Dunes Soft Play which was kindly paid for by the Friends of the School. All in all we have had a lovely learning experience.
