VE Day!
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon for VE Day. We sang Vera Lynn’s song ‘We’ll meet again’, had a picnic as a whole school and then spent the afternoon listening to the stories of those who were around during the World War to keep their stories alive. Some of us wrote our own stories about family members who had been in the war whilst others created poems about what VE Day would have meant. We looked very smart in our red, white and blue outfits!
