On Monday evening, our Y5/6 Tag Rugby team scored yet another victory playing the winners of the Bishop Auckland League at Parkside. Zach A, Carter and Finlay had the following report on the match:
“The game was tough and Toft Hill were a difficult team to play. We were ahead for most of the match, but actually came very close to losing it at the end. Fortunately, a pass to Ben allowed him to score a try and make it 11-11 with only seconds remaining. Extra time was tense, but the final score was 13-12 to Wolsingham. After winning against Toft Hill, we have made it to the County League Final!”
We look forward to our pupils competing at the County Finals at Consett Rugby club on the morning of March 18th.
