EYFS Sports Day
Reception and Nursery have thoroughly enjoyed their joint sports day. The children all tried their best and worked together as a team. The highlight was the ice cream during the interval- well done Early Years!
Kite Making
Today, the children decided that they would like to make kites as it was extremely windy. The children each designed their very own kite and had great fun flying it.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
We have thoroughly enjoyed the story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. The children watched first-hand the changes that the caterpillar must go through before it becomes a beautiful butterfly. We took great pleasure in releasing the butterflies into our wildlife garden. The children created stories using some of Eric Carle’s brilliant ideas, they then enjoyed reading them to one another. Food tasting was our favourite activity! The watermelon was a firm favourite.

Fireworks
In Reception, we have been learning about Guy Fawkes. We have used different media and materials to recreate some fireworks of our own.
Outdoor learning
We have had lots of fun playing outdoors. We love to climb and balance on the outdoor play equipment.
A New Start
Welcome to our Reception class everyone! The children have settled extremely well into their new environment. They have had lots of fun exploring and making friends.
